- Asian Pacific American Network of Oregon Annual Statewide Conference
March 12-13, 2010, Mt. Angel, OR
The annual statewide convention of APANO will be held Friday, March 12 at 6:00 p.m. through Saturday, March 13 at 5:00 p.m. Founded in the late 1990s by activists from the Chinese, Vietnamese, Japanese, Korean, Lao, and Filipino communities, APANO is an all-volunteer organization dedicated to civic involvement and Pan-Asian leadership development.
- 3rd Annual "Close the Achievement Gap" African American Parent & Family Conference

This free conference is a collaborative effort of the NAACP Eugene/Springfield Branch, Eugene 4J and Springfield school districts and Lane Community College. Parents, families and friends of African American students are invited to attend.
- 13th Annual MEChA Statewide High School Conference
April 16, 2010, Tualatin High School, Tualatin, OR
The MEChA High School Conference is unique in that it brings together high school students from throughout the state of Oregon who during the school year maintain their chapters active through cultural, social, community service, and educational events in their schools and communities. The Statewide Conference provides an opportunity for students to share ideas, best practices, and experiences within their chapter, student government and other activities. In addition, the conference is a venue in which students learn about issues currently affecting Latino youth in the community.
