Lies & Truths in our History:
Teaching What Happened –
And What We Can Do About It Now

Many thanks for a very successful conference on May 16 – our sincere appreciation goes to the presenters, attendees, McKay High School staff and students, and all who worked hard to rescue the conference from the unfortunate closure on May 1 of Western Oregon University by the Oregon Department of Public Health.

Our conference keynoter on May 16 was
Dr. Cornel Pewewardy,
an original founder of the National Association for Multicultural Education (NAME), nationally known educator, award-winning indigenous musician, and Portland State University professor of Native American Studies.
